SDSCIF Girls Golf Finals-Day 1 Results-11.1.16
Playing the Admiral Baker Golf Course on the South Course 18 holes, par (72), our Norse Lady Golfers, Sr. Stephanie Ksiazek and Jr. Natalie Huerta post scores of (86) & (91) respectively, in the 114 player field. Stephanie tie for 46th with three other players, and qualifies for the final round on Thursday. Natalie misses the cut by one stroke as the field was cut to 81 players, (90) being the cut line.
Also competing from the Grossmont Conference in day 1 of the SDSCIF Girls Golf finals, was the team from West Hills HS, posting a team score of (840), players were Sierra Streit (87), Emily Weber (95), Elyssa Tarbell (97), MJ Watkins (108), Victoria Neese (101), Shai Garcia-Mays (106). Individuals were Helix golfer’s Jaime Lau (84), and Kristina Lau (95). Posting an even par (72) and currently in 4th place overall is El Capitan’s Breann Horn. The tournament leader is returning defending SDSCIF Champion, Francis Parker School, sophomore Brooke Seay, carding a -2 under par (70). Leading the team competition is defending SDSCIF Champion Torrey Pines HS (377), followed by Rancho Bernardo HS (378).
