Meet Recap

Competing in the San Diego Section CIF Playoff round 1, shot-gun start, the Norsemen are in 3rd place in Division II and 9th overall in the 24 team, and 222 player field. Playing the Admiral Baker GC-North course par (72) the Norsemen posted a team score of 386. Leading Division II and 2nd overall is La Costa Canyon HS posting a team score (371). Overall leader is defending 2016 SDSCIF team champion Torrey Pines HS posting a team score (361). The top 12 teams and top 48 individual players not on top 12 team make it to SDSCIF Boys Finals to be played Thursday morning at Admiral Baker GC on the North Course. Leading the scoring for the Norsemen and in a 3-way tie for 4th overall is Jr. Cameron Sisk, carding a 2 under par (70). In a 5-way tie for 7th is Jr. Tommy Jernigan posting a 1 under par (71), Tommy birdied his last two holes to close out his scoring for the day, dropping a 60-foot putt on the 16th hole. In a 9-way tie for 12th place is Jr. Parker Sisk posting an even par (72). Closing the scoring for the Norsemen were Sr. Ryan Salemi (83) and Jr. Connor Witherspoon (90).
