Game Recap

One of the hardest thing in sports to do is beat a team for the 3rd time in a season. This almost proved true tonight as the Eagles came out fired up and dominated the 1st quarter. Down 2-3 in the first quarter, the Norsemen battle back to tie the game at 5 apiece at 1/2 time. 3rd quarter saw a lot of action, but not much scoring as the Norsemen scored 2 to the eagles 1. Going into the 4th quarter with a slim 1 goal lead, the Norsemen Scored early only to see the Eagles battle back and tie the game. The Norsemen scored the last two goals of the game to take an 11-9 victory. Game standouts were Ramey, French, with a goal apiece, Pyjar, Nordquist, and Kueber with 2 each, and Higginson with 3. O’Carroll lead the team with 3 assists, Romero, Kueber with 4 steals each. Higginson earned 3 exclusions on the Eagles, but it was the energetic play of Matt Ramey that earned him the “Player of the game”
