On October 9th, the Granite Hills Eagles faced off with the Valhalla Norsemen. This was a hard fought game, being tied after the first half at 4-4. In the fourth quarter the Norsemen had pulled ahead by three goals, but were unable to hold that lead, as forced turnovers and unfortunate exclusions allowed the Eagles to tie the game up at 9-9. In overtime the Eagles managed to score on a turnover on the perimeter, and a drawn exclusion, putting the end of the game within a minute of the overtime period.
Though an unfortunate loss, there were many positives within that game, including Connor Audette and Kameron Cowles scoring two goals, and making three assists, as well as Tate Clapham getting six steals, and making a key field block.
