Valhalla Norsemen Varsity nabbed the lead late in the game in an 8-7 victory over West Hills on Friday. The game was tied at five with Valhalla Norsemen Varsity batting in the top of the seventh when Delaney Stettler singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Despite falling down by five runs in the fifth inning, West Hills tried to fight back. West Hills scored six runs in the failed comeback on a single by #12 in the fifth, a home run by #19 in the sixth, a error in the sixth, a single by #11 in the sixth, and a home run by #15 in the seventh.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, West Hills tied things up at five. #11 singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
